This family comes from Rudo Brdo, a mountain hamlet located some 10 kilometers away from Andrijevica in the direction of Kolašin, at 1,400 m altitude. The old family house of Djeković family in Rudo Brdo has welcomed the sixth generation of successors who will, hopefully, continue to maintain and manage the house and the farm as their predecessors. Even though the family lives at the outskirts of Andrijevica, they spend the larger portion of summer in the village, where many village jobs await, the jobs like planting the garden where you can find various plants common for this area. And then, the autumn comes together with the time when winter stores are prepared, and the hardworking granny Vinka needs only to buy some salt from the shop.
