Guests can taste dishes such as ka\u010damak, cicvara, lamb &#8220;under the sa\u010d,&#8221; homemade pies, proja, sour milk, as well as homemade cheese and kajmak. Homemade juices, brandy (rakija), and honey from our own production are also served.<\/p>\n<p>There is no fixed menu in this rural household; traditional homemade food is prepared, the same as for the family itself. Guests only need to specify if they require vegetarian or vegan cuisine, or if they are allergic to certain ingredients.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><strong>Rural Activities<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The annual work cycle on the farm begins with intensive soil preparation and vegetable planting during April and May, while June is reserved for mowing grass and collecting hay, along with constant care for the livestock. The summer months, July and August, are reserved for staying at the katuns on Sinjajevina mountain, where cheese and kajmak are traditionally prepared alongside the harvest of early fruits. Autumn brings the harvesting of apples, pears, and plums, brandy distilling, and the preparation of winter stores in September, followed by the harvesting of potatoes and corn in October as the final preparation for winter. However, certain tasks know no season, so milking cows, collecting eggs, picking medicinal herbs, and making homemade products are carried out throughout the year. Three generations live in the household \u2013 grandmother Krstina, her daughter Sanja and son-in-law Ranko, and their three children: Nemanja, who is a primary school teacher, Aleksandar, a hospitality professional, and daughter An\u0111ela, a pharmacist. The children stay with their parents and always help with the tasks in the rural household. They live in the countryside and are engaged in agriculture and livestock farming. They raise about 20 cows, 30 chickens, and 5 pigs. They produce the widely known and branded Kola\u0161in layered cheese (lisnati sir), kajmak, eggs, meat, and various homemade foods.<\/p>\n<p>They own fields and an orchard where they grow onions, carrots, parsley, leeks, beets, ra\u0161tan (collard greens), chard, cabbage, potatoes, beans, green beans, corn, peas, tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. In the immediate vicinity, about 20 km away, is Lake Biograd, which is part of the national park and represents one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Montenegro.<\/p>\n<p>The household is closest to the Jablanov Vrh peak (2023 m above sea level), and nearby are the peaks Veliki and Mali Gusar. Along the way, you can visit the Bistrica spring, from where locals get drinking water. The view from \u017ddrijelo is particularly beautiful, as is the viewpoint located about a 10-minute easy walk from the katun, offering a wonderful view of the village of Lipovo, the town of Kola\u0161in, and the peaks of the Komovi and Bjelasica mountains.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_huge\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div
