Feratović family lives in the village called Budovice, in Plav municipality. The family of ŠefkijaFeratović  is made of 11 members. Šefkija and his wife Selvija have three sons. The oldest one lives in Norway with his family and the younger two have stayed in Plav, they work with their parents and they manage the farm.

Feratović family is mainly into fruit growing. There are 40 apple sorts growing on their farm, more than 15 sorts of pears, and some 20 trees of older, indigenous sorts of apples and pears. We have also got a large number of berry fruit, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, chokeberry, and so on.

We have built three log cabins on the farm, each of them equipped with bathrooms and balconies offering a stunning view to Plav Lake. There’s also a large wooden garden cabin, shadirvan, where you can taste our products, such as juices, jams, preserves…

Feratović family household is situated at the very border of the National Park Prokletije, and it’s only 7.5 kilometers away from the town center.  Some 500 or 600 meters away from the household, you’ll come upon a trail called Peaks of Balkans, a mountain trail 192 km long, passing through three countries, Montenegro, Albania and Kosovo (8 to 10 days is needed to go through this trail), and a hiking trail that leads to the Memina Mountain.

Also, when visiting the town, visitors can go to the Redžepagića Tower, Plav Lake and so on. For visitors who are into religious tourism, Plav can offer many interesting destinations, such as: The Monastery of Holy Trinity in Brezovica, which is one of the oldest objects in Montenegro, then the Old Mosque in Plav, Sultania Mosque, and others.

There are fly fishing zones and the lake available for fishing fans, then some recreational boat rides across the lake, and so on.

Jokić family lives in the village called Murino, but, since they are into husbandry, they have been spending half a year at the katun for generations. This katun is the place where they offer tourism services, they are situated directly on the route of the Katun Road. Gordana, or rather Goca, as her nickname is, is the lady of the house, she will welcome you and be your host. The katun is also home to her mother and father- law, and one of her seven children is often there, alone or with their own children. So, you may meet four different generations of the Jokić family while there. You will also get to know the old tradition of Montenegrin’s katuns, since this family still practices it, and every single thing in their household is completely traditional.

Jokić family is primarily into husbandry, which means you will be able to taste a superb mountain cheese. They keep cows, sheep and goats, pigs, hens, horses, too. You will see a cat or a dog also, all these animals are typical for a village household. Besides husbandry, the family grows practically all the food they make for themselves and that they serve to their guests. You should try their potato which is exceptional in taste and quality, being grown at this altitude and fertilized with stable manure, without any chemical substances. As it’s usual at the katun, the family picks blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, they collect mushrooms and medicinal herbs, you can taste all these here.

Vujo’s katun is situated at the very top of Čakor. It overlooks all the peaks of Prokletije, and the large portion of this region is registered as a national park. One of the trails from their katun leads to Mokra and Hajla mountains, the so called Katun Road where you can meet other cattle breeders who practice the tradition of going up to the katuns, and another trail leads to Prokletije mountain range, towards the famous trail Peaks of the Balkans.

Praščević family lives in the village Brezojevice, near Plav. The family is made of the host Milutin – Mićo, his wife Radmila and their daughters. Milutin and Radmila are teachers, but they have still found some free time to create a botanical garden “Velemun”, which houses a large number of species. Milutin is also a passionate ex-football player, a mountaineer and a guide.

The family owns an object – a bungalow, intended for the tourists’ accommodation. The object is placed close to their botanical garden, a location convenient for mountaineers, bikers, botanists and other nature lovers.

They grow vegetables, for the needs of the family only. They have also got an orchard and they produce juices, jams, brandies, liqueurs and preserves, which you can try and buy in this household.

Praščević household is situated at the foot of the mountain Visitor, only a hundred kilometers away from the road connecting Berane and Plav. It is very close to the national park “Prokletije” and some beautiful mountain ranges and mountain trails.

Botanical garden “Velemun” is listed among five cultural properties of Plav. Besides the garden, Plav houses a lot of cultural monuments worth visiting.

The household Praščević is also a starting point of some biking and mountain trails.

The Lim River is situated a two minutes’ walk from the household, and so, fly fishing lovers can enjoy their favorite sport there.

And finally, Plav Lake is 1.5 kilometers away from the household, as well as the small town Plav.

Savić family lives in the village called Pepiće, and it is made up of Ranko and his wife Dostana and their three grown up children. Their family tradition is horticulture.

Horticulture is the basic activity of the family Savić, they grow organic vegetables for themselves and for their guests. They also own an orchard with different types of fruit which they use to produce jam, juices and compote.

If you visit at the right time, you can take part in these activities.

Household Savić is situated within easy reach of the National Park Prokletije, at the foot of the mountain Visitor. Visitors’ center is 7 kilometers away from the household. A marked bicycle trail passes by the farm. A kilometer away from the village, a new-built church can be found, and 4 km away, visitors can see the Holy Trinity church built in the 13^th century, a monument, and a sports center. The river Lim, rich in fish, runs through the village. Visitor Lake, whose altitude is 1,750, is located just 7 km away from the farm and the mountain peak Plana, 2,219 m, overlooks the lake. A marked hiking trail passes by the farm. There is a main road going by the farm that leads to Plavsko Lake, which is 7 km away and 20 km away are Hridsko Lake, the famous waterfall Grlja and Alipaša springs. Finally, if you want to visit Grebaja, where you can see the highest mountain peaks of Prokletije, you will have to travel for 25 km.

Redžematović family is made of three generations. During the winter they live in Plav and when the summer comes they go up to Bajrovića Katun, situated at a highly attractive location, on the road to the Hridsko Lake. Samelova Koliba is situated some 15 kilometers away from Plav, inside the Prokletije National Park. It is set on the altitude of 1,750 meters and it is only an hour of walk away from the Hridsko Lake, and as such, it is a great starting point for your visit there. Various mountain peaks, such as Hridski Krš, can be seen in the vicinity of the farm.

Natural attraction located nearby are: Hridsko Lake, Kridski Krš and Plav Lake.
