A special delicacy of their gastronomic offer is the preparation of traditional dishes in a modern way, such as dishes made of forest mushrooms. Pipović family lives in the village of Palež, near Žabljak. There are 5 members living in this family. Radovan with his wife and two sons, as well as his sister. His sons are still students, but they actively participate in the farm activities during the summer months. Pipović’s are one of those families who returned to the countryside from the town, to form their family there. They did it out of love for nature and animals.
Pipović household is engaged in agriculture, they are one of the few families in Žabljak with many different animals on farm, such as cows, sheep, bees, pigs, chicken, ducks, turkeys, geese. They also have a garden and a greenhouse on their farm, where they grow vegetables, which they use for their own needs and for the needs of their guests. Household also owns ponies, guests who visit the property can ride them.
Village of Palež is located just a few km away from Žabljak. In its vicinity, some 2-3km away, the canyon of the river Tara is situated, and there are forest roads leading from the household to viewpoints in the canyon, where you can see the river Tara.
Durmitor National Park is located some 6km from the village, many hiking and walking trails begin there.
Some bike trails that lead to nearby villages are nearby, too.
With the help of people from the household, rafting can be arranged and organized.
