Merdović household prepares traditional food for themselves, and so the guests will be offered the same food as the one made for the family, without menu. The guest should state in advance if vegetarian or vegan food is needed or if he/she is allergic to some ingredients.

Merdović family lives in the suburb neighborhood called Lužac, municipality of Berane. Milisav, his wife Nada and their three sons, Zoran, Ljubo and Ivan, traditionally go to the village Kurikuće, situated below Bjelasica, at the very entrance of the national park Biogradska Gora. Their family tradition is working in agriculture and husbandry and Milisav has continued the tradition of his ancestors.
Basic activities of Merdović family are agriculture and husbandry. They own a garden where they grow vegetables, for themselves and for their guests. They have also got an orchard in Lužac and they produce homemade juices, jams and brandy, too. Besides picking fruit from their orchard, the family also picks mushrooms, forest fruit and they use them in jam, juices and preserve production. Whenever you decide to visit Merdović family, you can take part in certain activities at the farm and gain an unforgettable experience.
Merdović household is situated in the village Kurikuće, within an inch of the National park Biogradska Gora and the mountain Bjelasica, famous for its natural beauty, especially for its glacier lakes. There are two rivers passing through Kurikuće, and you can also visit three caves situated close to the household. If you are interested in visiting the lakes gracing Bjelasica, Pešića lake, Ursulovačko lake, Large and Small Šiško lake, Ševarinsko, and the largest one, Biogradsko lake, you will only have to walk for a couple of hours from the household. Ševarinsko lake is ideal for observing birds.
Several biking and hiking trails pass close to the household, Via Dinarica, too.
