Šekularac family moves to Suvodo katun in May and stays there till October. They have carried on the tradition of their ancestors.
The family is made up of 7 members. Their tradition is husbandry and beekeeping, and it still goes on, with new generations.
The basic activity of Šekularac family is husbandry but they also own a garden where they grow vegetables for them and for their guests. They have an orchard, too and they produce jams and juices and if you happen to visit at the right time, you can take part in these activities.
Šekularac household is situated at the very border of the National Park Biogradska Gora. Thus, their household is in its proximity. A marked bicycle trail passes by their farm. There are three glacial lakes close to it, Šiško, Ursulovačko and Pešića Lake. They are only one to two hours away on foot. Also, the highest Bjelasica peak (2,139 m), Crna Glava, is close by.
