Žugić household is situated in the village of Novakovići. Three generations live in this household, Milija with his wife Violeta, son, and Milija’s mother. Milija is retired, so they spend almost the whole year in the village. During the winter months, when the snow is heavy, they spend a few months in Podgorica. As soon as the village is cleaned, it is a sign for the family to return to their house.
Žugić farm is engaged in agriculture, has its own sheep, goats, and poultry. They have also got a garden near the house, where they plant vegetables for their own needs and for the needs of their guests. A diligent housewife Violeta picks forest fruits, mostly blueberries, and prepares sweets from them. Also, during August and September, medicinal herbs are harvested and they prepare fresh juices from them, and a certain quantity is dried for the preparation of home-made teas.
Žugić household is located in the immediate vicinity of Vražje and Riblje lakes. During the summer months, locals and tourists bathe on small grassy beaches on Vrazje Lake.
Only 1 km from the household is one of the two necropolises of tombstones from this village, and the other location is 4 km away.
As the farm is located right next to the border of NP Durmitor, the location is excellent as a starting point for climbing the mountains.
