Welcome to Household Pavićević — a traditional mountain household located in the Žabljak area, surrounded by the landscapes of Durmitor and preserved rural nature.

The family combines:

The household started developing tourism around ten years ago, at the time when tourism in the Žabljak area was rapidly expanding.

Although Zabljak tourism providers focus mainly on accommodation, this household specializes in food, and most authentic value is traditional homemade food based on their own organic production.

Today, the household is known for:

The family has organic certification for nearly 20 products, which is exceptionally rare in Montenegro.

Household Pavićević has obtained the Good Travel Seal Level 1 sustainability certification.

A FAMILY WAY OF LIFE

Tourism and agriculture at Household Pavićević are truly family activities.

Zoran is mainly responsible for agricultural work, while Vera is the main cook and caretaker of traditional dairy production.

Their children are working alongside the parents in all aspects of household activities.

The household welcomes guests from all over the world, especially from European countries, and continuously improves its offer by learning from guest experiences and international good practices.

The family practices a form of transhumance, moving cattle seasonally between Zabljak and Kovačica village, preserving traditional mountain grazing practices and local agricultural landscapes.

More than 80% of the food served to guests is produced by the family itself or sourced from nearby trusted local producers and relatives from neighboring villages.
